SyncJe from Nexthaus is the recommend SyncML client for BlackBerry devices.

To setup the synchronization profile do the following:

1. Download and install SyncJe
2. Select the SyncJe menu item
3. Click the scroll wheel and select "Settings"
4. Enter the following settings:
   Server: http://<Enter the URL for your WorldClient server>/MDSyncML.dll
   Username: Your MDaemon user name
   Password: Your MDaemon password
5. Click the scroll wheel and select "Get Folders" — This will automatically populate the folder names for contacts, calendar, and tasks
6. It is recommended that the "Only sync events between" option is enabled — This feature allows you to limit which calendar events are sent to the BlackBerry
7. Click the scroll wheel and select "Save"
8. Click the scroll wheel and select "Start Sync"

The Synthesis SyncML client is the recommended SyncML client for Windows Mobile devices.

To setup the synchronization profile do the following:

1. Download and install the Synthesis SyncML client
2. On the mobile device, select "Applications"
3. Execute the "Synthesis SymcML" application
4. Select "Extras"
5. Select "Settings"
6. Enter the following settings:
   Host: http://<Enter the URL for your mail server>/MDSyncML.dll
   Username: Your MDaemon user name
   Password: Your MDaemon password
7. Select which items you would like to synchronize
8. Select the "Organizer" tab
9. Enter "contacts" for the contacts server path
10. Enter "calendar" for the events server path
11. Enter "tasks" for the tasks server path
12. It is recommended that the "Only from..." option is enabled. This feature allows you to limit which calendar events are sent to the device.
13. Select "Ok"
14. Select the "Synchronization icon"

Symbian phones come with a SyncML client so it's not necessary to install software on these devices. You only need to setup a synchronization profile.

To setup the synchronization profile do the following:

1. From the desktop select Extra->Synchronization
2. Press the "Menu" button and select "New"
3. If the system asks you to copy data from the selected profile answer no
4. For the profile name enter "MDaemon" and press "Continue"
5. Select connection type "Internet", the Internet access point, and press continue
6. Enter the following settings:
   Host: http://<Enter the URL for your mail server>/MDSyncML.dll
   Port: Port used by WorldClient (default = 3000)
   Username: Your MDaemon user name
   Password: Your MDaemon password
7. Press continue
8. Turn contacts on
9. Turn calendar on
10. Turn e-mail off
11. Press next
12. Enter "contacts" for the external contacts database and press "Continue"
13. Enter "calendar" for the external calendar database and press "Continue"
14. Set this profile as the default profile if you like and press "Continue"
